Our minimum charge is R600. This covers the cost of brand new, single use needle, disposables and sterile machine setup for each client. Your health & safety comes first, that’s what you’re paying for and that setup is only for you.

Small to medium tattoos are quoted according to size, design and placement on your body. You’re paying for the artist’s efficiency& experience, not for time specifically. As we get better, we get faster, so less experienced artists may take longer to do the same job.

Larger tattoos may be charged at an hourly rate based on each artist’s individual speed.

We accept cash, card &zapper payments. We do not accept EFT payments.

In most cases it’s always best to make an appointment, but we do accept walk-ins just depending on the tattoo & availability. Certain artists are more booked up than others.

We generally do allow friends & family to wait in the front of the shop, but with the current restrictions, it’s best to come alone. We are located in Florida Fields which has a lot of outside seating & surrounded by Coffee shops, restaurants & bars that will gladly host your friends while you get tattooed.

We’ll need at least a 48 hour notice to reschedule or cancel your appointment, otherwise you will lose your deposit and will need to rebook with a new deposit. If you’ve cancelled your appointment with enough time’s notice, then you may collect your deposit at the shop in cash.

Yes we do. You can buy a tattoo voucher from the shop for any amount you’d like.

No, we do not offer piercing, and we also don’t stock jewellery.

Research the style & images you like. Best would be to research on Google, Instagram, books or magazines. You may like the colours of 1 image, and the style of another, save them all and send it through to: info@trademarktattoos.com with a little description of your idea.

Some images will translate very well to a tattoo, while other images can look amazing on paper but will not work as a tattoo in your skin for various reasons. The best tattoos, look like tattoos.

We will advise you on the best options based on your ideas. Listen to your artist and trust their expertise, we have years of experience and want to give you the best possible tattoo that will look great now and in the years to come.

On the day of your tattoo, arrive well rested, clean & showered. Have a good meal before your tattoo and wear the appropriate clothing for where the tattoo will be going (example, wear a vest if you’re getting tattooed on the top of your arm/shoulder area).

Yes, Tattoos do hurt, but it’s a bearable pain. You’re more than welcome to bring your headphones to listen to your own music or watch a movie while getting tattooed.
